Frequently asked questions
What exactly do I pay?
A once-off setup fee to build, train and connect your assistant, then a monthly fee for hosting, WhatsApp replies, updates, support and your report. Pay 12 months upfront and save 10%. WhatsApp’s own message fees are billed by Meta directly to your Meta account.
What counts as an AI reply?
Each message your assistant sends to a customer. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI replies. WhatsApp’s own per-message fees are billed by Meta directly to your Meta account, so you always see exactly what WhatsApp charges. If you go over your allowance, extra replies are P450 per 1,000 – we’ll warn you first.
Can I keep my current WhatsApp number?
Your assistant needs its own number that isn’t on the WhatsApp app – a new SIM or a landline works well. You keep using your current WhatsApp as normal.
Are promotional messages included?
Not yet. Promotions and broadcasts to customers who’ve opted in are quoted separately, and Meta bills its message fees to your Meta account.
How long does setup take?
Most assistants are live within 7 working days of signing up, once your set-up fee is paid and your WhatsApp number is connected.
Can a real person take over the chat?
Yes. Your team uses the inbox app to take over any conversation, with the full chat history in front of them.
Can the assistant speak Setswana?
Yes, on every plan. It replies in the language the customer uses.
Is there a contract?
Plans have a minimum period – 6 months for Web Lite, WhatsApp Lite and Starter, 12 months for Business and Pro – then continue month to month with 30 days’ notice. You accept our service agreement online when you sign up.
What happens to my customers’ data?
Your data stays yours. We handle it in line with Botswana’s Data Protection Act and never use it for anything else. See our privacy policy.
